Ruth, a young woman who, after the death of her husband, chooses to accompany her mother-in-law back to a foreign country and must make a life as a poverty-stricken foreigner, a scorned and unprotected woman.

Jay Moussa-Mann has been writing and directing since 2007. Her short film "You Can Always Do Something" won an award in 2010 at the Sabaoth International Film Festival and "But A Dream" which she co-created came runner up in the Port of Tyne Reflect Competition in 2012. "The Key" was part of the official selection at the Great Lakes Christian Film Festival.
Kevin Mann was named as one of Bloomberg Business Week 2010’s Top Young Entrepreneurs in Technology. He raised $1.2m as the Founder of Graphic.ly and attended 2009 Techstars Mentoring Program in Boulder, CO. He was among the youngest in the UK to receive Microsoft Visual Basic Fundamentals Professional Qualification in 1999.
Ruth, the Musical is a tender, warm-hearted musical drama which follows the story of a young widow, who must make her way as a foreigner in a strange land.
Written by Jay Moussa-Mann, the film carries a message of love and courage, accompanied by an array of beautiful songs.
